I have been surfing the web trying to learn how drive a bicolor LED with a picaxe. The circuit I am building I am copying shows the bicolor LED connected to pins 5 and 6 of a picaxe 18. I was simply trying to find out if this is detrimental to the picaxe, connecting it without a series resistor. On the otherhand, the project I am trying to copy only pulses the red or green condition very briefly so it may not draw enough current to fry the picaxe. I am just learning.

While surfing for information on the above, I was drawn to your site. Your nitelight and solar powered pool fountain caught my eye. I have a pool fountain but unfortunately, it calls for the pool filter to be operating. Yours runs off of the sun. I find these type of projects inspiring and educational. Keep up the good work.
